Barcelona's Argentinean wizard Lionel Messi is going to be offered a significant improvement on his current contract, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Messi currently earns 8 million euros as a gross salary plus 2.4 million as maximum in incentives. He will be offered a new salary of 11 million euros plus a possible 30 percent of that amount in incentives.
Most importantly, his buyout clause will be raised from 150 million euros to 250 million euros, to flail off any possible interest from the Sheikhs and Perez's of the footballing world.
Needless to say, Little Lionel deserves this money. He is a great player, a great professional and also performs in the biggest of games, unlike a certain Mr. Ronaldive.
