There is speculation that Barcelona could be interested in signing Dutch midfielder Ibrahim Afellay (23) from PSV Eindhowen.
Afellay is being looked on as another possible candidate for the wings. Barcelona have got glowing scouting reports on him from former players Ronald Koeman and Marc Overmars.
Following Pep Guardiola's assertion that he is looking to buy a cheap yet quality midfielder, it seems Afellay fits the bill perfectly. He could also be a great signing for the future.
Among Afellay's strengths are dribbling skills, incredible shot power and a good physical presence.
