Inter Milan left wing-back Maxwell Scherer (28) has signed for Barcelona. This news has been confirmed by the official Barcelona website.
It is reported that Maxwell will sign a five year deal, paying him 3.7 million euros a year. The transfer fee is reportedly close to 4 million euros.
The main factor that has contributed to this deal is Deportivo president Lendoiro's insistence of 20 million euros for Filipe Luis.
