Barcelona are reportedly interested in Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen (29) of Juventus.
The player's agent reportedly told a Danish football site that Barcelona have approached Juventus on the possibility of a deal. He also said that though at present, Poulsen was concentrating on Juventus, Barcelona would be a very attractive proposition which he would find very hard to refuse.
It is unclear what role Poulsen would play if he moves to Barcelona. With the abundance of midfield talent in Xavi, Iniesta, Toure, Keita, Busquets and upcoming star Thiago, it seems difficult to imagine Poulsen getting too much playing time.
He could however be used as a backup when the African Cup of Nations starts in January.
